Fishman Pickup For Resonator Guitars

After several trials, I finally succeeded installing the gear (on a Hohner spider bridge resonator guitar). If you wish to acquire this pick up model, please be aware of 3 things:
- There is a little plastic washer which is one of those parts you usually think it's there for special cases, but certainly not necessary for your axe... well, don't think twice, use it! Otherwise, your pickup will just not work!
- When it'll finally work, you'll be quite surprised by the high sound quality, until you want to play in gig situation, where the atmosphere is much louder. I tried it out, it's just a feedback producing machine. I haven't tried with a feedback killer yet, I hope it'll do it. So if you wish to use this pickup on stage, be aware of this problem. It's excellent for recordings though, and just for that, I have no regret I bought the stuff
- One more small detail: The pick up was delivered well packed in the original Fishman box, with guarantee certificate, but without any installation notice (which would have helped regarding this little washer I wrote about earlier). It's actually after you take the guitar apart for the third time that you start looking for help on internet that you eventually find the solution, on Fishman's site. What would musicians do without the internet?
