Gewa G5 Studio 5

Upfront and straight off the bat I want to highlight that the kit arrived with a few trigger issues. The 18 ride and snare triggers both failed early. However, Gewa customer care were amazing. They had anything that failed replaced immediately and everything is working perfectly now.

I've owned a few electric kits in my time. This kit was an absolute winner for me. Easy to transport, great sounds, great playability, nice size and excellent module.

The module has a nice number of outputs which make it great for gigging. Have already used this in a live setting and it works like a dream.
The sounds from the module are better than most other edrums out there. The Tom's and kick are punchy and there's a nice range of quality snare drums. The cymbals on edrums are nor. Ally very tinny but not on these. I really like how the triggers play also.

The set up is relatively easy (although instructions for the rack set up could be better) and the module is ready to play out of the box. Like with any ekit you need to do some tweeking and adjustment to how you play yourself. But once you get that up and running this plays like a dream.

All in all I can absolutely recommend this as a buy. Sounds are great, module is feature rich, it plays really well and if you have any doubt Gewa are incredibly responsive if you do encounter any issues.
