Ibanez AR420-TBG

I bought this guitar for Christmas and received it in French Polynesia in good conditions (the main package got opened but not the second one inside.)
Still a bit sad transportation fees have gone up recently but UPS did deliver quite fast (around 10-12 days at the busiest time of the year).
I like the versatility of this instrument (many pups configurations) and the finish really stands out from the rest of the artist series.
This blue/white paintjob reminds me of the beach and the seashore in front of my house.
And binding matches really well with the rest of the guitar/fretmarks.
Action was well set, no dings. Just a few very light scratches on the maple top.
Soundwise, this guitar has a nice sustain.
Neck is not slim but not too fat either (small hands over here but no fatigue noticed so far).
I mostly play reggae and rock and it can handle both styles very well.
I really like the neck pup which is rich in tones but the bridge is a bit too bright for me, even though it’s also a super 58. Might swap it with something less shiny overtime but right now i can work with the original setup.
Overall I’m very happy with this beautiful gem and great service by Thomann as well. Sorry for my messy English, hope this can help other musicians.
