Looks great and seems well made for the price.

So far really like this instrument and looks good. The bag is rather flimsy but for the price good. Also a couple of the strings buzz sometimes but maybe that's me being a beginner.

Almost Perfect.

This is a very good instrument for the price, all things considered excellent value.
I was somewhat surprise that I mentioned (on receipt) two small imperfections on the back of the body (under the gloss finish, which didn’t seem prompt any comment, I think that kind of thing really should have been picked up by the manufacturer or by the supplier.

A gorgeous, simple Kala

Lovely full sound with good sustain and pleasing warmth. Only issue is some buzzing on the first and second frets of the D string. I assume a slight truss rod adjustment will fix it but I'm tolerating it these first days to see if any other issues pop up before I adjust the truss rod and slap on some new strings. It's a glorious instrument at a fair price and worth every penny.

Hervorragender Klang

Neben der Kala habe ich noch zwei andere Bariton-Ukulelen zum Vergleich, eine deutlich günstigere von Cascha und eine deutlich teurere von Flight (Aurora). Von diesen dreien ist die Kala klanglich mit Abstand die beste. Sie besitzt einen solch warmen und vollen Klang, der wirklich zum verlieben ist. Die anderen beiden klingen, obwohl sie massive Decken haben, deutlich "flacher". Bei der Kala hat man schon eher das Gefühl eine Gitarre zu spielen. Auch die Bundreinheit ist bis in die oberen Bünde gegeben, was bei der Cascha und sogar der Flight leider nicht der Fall ist
Der einzige Schwachpunkt, zumindest bei meinem Exemplar, ist, dass die D- und G-Saiten im 4. und 5. Bund zum Schnarren neigen. Das tritt vor allem bei stärkerem Strumming auf, beim Zupfen ist es nicht zu hören. Es stört mich nicht so sehr, als dass ich sie zurückschicken wollte, ich ziehe deshalb aber einen Stern ab.
