Marshall MG15GFX

Great small amp with all the characteristics and sounds I'm looking for. Setting up the 4 channels is a bit complicated, requiring a switch from preset to manual mode by holding down the 'tap' button. One this is figured out, however, this amp rocks with 4 discrete channels - clean, crunch, OD1 and OD2. With the addition of 2 types of reverb and 5 other effects, plus 3 band EQ, this amp really produces an incredible range of sound. Having a separately programmable volume for each channel is great too, allowing me to rely less on my guitar's volume knob.

Classic Marshall sound, especially in overdrive, paired with a PRS SE hollowbody. And with the compatible stomp box (PEDL90008), it also has tuner functionality. Everything works great - solidly built, looks nice. And the MP3 input and headphone output (1/8" jacks) are nice to play along to music or to keep the noise down.

The only thing it lacks is output to connect external speakers, but since I didn't need that, I'm fine with the existing features. Highly recommend for anyone needing a small amp for a little studio or home/apartment playing.
