I've used a number of tuners, from built-in in multi fx rigs, to clip ons, to pedals, to you name it, but I was looking for one that would be more precise, durable, and somehow "semi-pro" without losing a kidney.
After a whole bunch of research I came upon this Peterson, my first strobe tuner, and I love it.
I have started doing quite a lot of guitar maintenance lately, and this guy is constantly on my bench, easy to read, easy to use, so precise and reliable, it makes intonation setups a breeze.
Built like a tank, doesn't take much space, could easily be integrated on a pedalboard (very easy to read on the floor and in the dark), though myself I use mainly on the workbench.
