Well engineered, but needs an engineering degree to put together!

I like the design and quality of this desk. It works nicely for what I wanted it for, which was to have a nice big work surface with an upper monitor platform and a keyboard tray. My only slight criticism with the desk itself is the finish of the desk surface panels.
My big problem with this desk is how annoying it is to put together. I have had other bits of flatpack furniture I put together recently, and those came with actual labels on the pieces so you know which ones are referred to in the assembly guide. In this case, there are no labels, so you have to rely on visually matching the parts with what's drawn in the guide. It's a bit annoying since many parts look very similar, particularly the screws. The screws are all put together in one paper backed plastic package, and the paper is a bit icky from all the grease of the screws.
I think they could make the assembly process a lot easier by simply labelling either the parts themselves or the plastic packaging they come in, and it would be the cost of a few stickers or a bit of ink. Otherwise, I do like this desk.

Purchased Wavebone Star Rover Studio Desk after a lot of research. Found it difficult to find a UK supplier. Desk arrived without damage and was dropped off at kerb side with wooden pallate still attached - heavy package requiring 2 people to lift and unpack. Desk is made from good quality, sturdy materials which fitted together well. As is often the case, the assembly instructions are not very clear and care should be taken identifying all parts before each step.

Kompakter Tisch, mit viel Platz, sehr hübsch

Ich brauchte einen neuen Tisch, der nicht zu breit ist, gut aussieht und angenehme Rack-Slots mitbringt.

Es gibt in meinen Augen nicht sehr viele attraktive Möglichkeiten, so dass meine Wahl auf diesen hier gefallen ist.

Jedes Teil an diesem Tisch fühlt sich hochwertig an. Der Zusammenbau brauchte ein Stück weit mehr Aufmerksamkeit, als ich das sonst gewohnt bin - aber Probleme gab es nicht.

Ich habe das linke Rack voll bestückt und im rechten liegt die Holzplatte als Ablage - Super, wenn man Outboard-Equipment hat, was nicht rackfähig ist.

Durch die nicht so großen Breite des Tisches habe ich meine Studio-Lautsprecher auf Stative gestellt, neben den Tisch. Ein für mich perfektes Setup, weil es nicht überladen und luftig wirkt. Vom Platz her könne ich Sie auch auf die Ablage stellen, neben den Monitor. Ich habe aber den Platz und wollte die Breite und Tiefe nutzen.

Die Keyboard-Ablage ist höhenverstellbar, muss dazu aber immer neu verschraubt werden. Habe Sie einmal eingestellt und seit dem passt es auch.

Insgesamt ist ein für mich hervorragender Tisch, der zwar nicht sonderlich günstig, aber seinen Preis alle mal wert ist.
