What a Sax! The complete package is just as smooth as honey! I understand many professionals have this as their standard Alto Sax - and I can see why. It's as if the keys were tailored (sculpted?) for your own specific hand dimensions. Was it a surprise?

Not really because I have the same tenor version and swapping between the two is a cinch! Yamaha is such a reliable well engineered brand that it pays in the long run. If you can't make a decent tone on this instrument - it's you!

Good sound ( tested with Theo Wanne-NYZBROS 7 and with Vandoren V16 s+,Green Java 1,5 reed ) YAMAHA Custom 4 mouthpiece I haven't unpacked it. I was very disappointed when I opened the box and I saw the neck Custom V1 is with crooked ring ( not symmetrical ) .This instrument is labeled "Custom ",and it's impossible to be made like this from the factory ! Very low quality of soldering and gold lacquer. The key of F# is too noisy.About service from Thomann ?-They are perfect ! Fast shipping (only seven days with UPS). The product was very good and safety packed .People who work for Thomann Custom service are very professional and kind .They explained how to return "Yamaha Custom Z " and back my money .

Mit dem Yamaha YAS-82 Z 02 Altsaxophon bin ich sehr zufrieden. Auch über die super Beratung, den schnellen Versand und natürlich die Qualität des Instruments habe ich mich sehr gefreut. Ein vernünftiges Mundstück von Theo Wanne Durga III Alto 6 Gold
Metallmundstück für Altsaxophon habe ich noch dazu gekauft.
Die fehlenden Wischer wurden sofort nachgeliefert.
