I make music for few years but I had only a scarlett 2i4 interface and I felt limited as I use many synths and instruments.
I needed an high quality interface that allow me to plug everything together and record music quickly.
It has all connections that you need and it is expandable, you get also 4 inserts that I use with diverse guitar pedals plugged in, also turntable inputs.
It has so many features, It became my studio hub and the bluetooth is quite convinient for multimedia use ore sampling other sources.
Pros:
-The preamps sound great
- there are all the connections that you need for various situations
(setup few microphones and record a drum , little band, keep all your studio gear plugged ready to record)
- use it as a mixer for jams without computer
- expandability
- the included arturia plugins are great I use them in my mix regulary
- multi speakers out
-I use the bluetooth feature everyday, so my studio monitor play also movies.
Cons:
No DSP like in some other interfaces in the same price range, but the latency is good and you can use inserts.
I don?t need some features like the talkback or the second set of speakers now but It might be useful some day.
For info I was considering an appolo twin mk2, but in the end it lacked of inputs and the only "pro" was the use of their DSP plugins but I actually don?t need them.
I also considered the RME Fireface UCX, I liked the total mix software and that it has some dsp effects and great connections but it lacked of some easy onboard controls and the price point was a bit higher.
Conclusion the AudioFuse studio is a really great interface, that can be used in many configurations, It just sounds great and it?s super easy to use and incorporate it in your setup.
