So you're fed up with traditional posts (you're right) and want to get locking tuners (right again), welcome to a world of pain. It's virtually impossible to know beforehand what fits what, you'll be reduced to guessing from reading reviews or forums.
After reading reviews mentioning these are a drop-in replacement for Gibson, I went for them. They are indeed a drop-in replacement, no need to drill, BUT the shaft is much shorter than the Grovers on my V from 2019. This is obvious without installing. The MG-T version here does seem to feature some shafts longer than others in the set, but the difference is so small it's irrelevant, and useless.
It doesn't mean they can't be installed, but the break angle of the strings over the nut will be increased. If you don't mind, they'll work. I'm back to looking for a longer shaft, I should've stuck with Grovers.
By the way, these are light, which is worth knowing if you have a guitar prone to neck dive.
