Unbeatable for the price

I had to replace my Dynaudio's due to space constraints and went with these little guys.

Pros:
1. The stereo image of these is phenomenal. Very wide and miles better than my Dynaudio's.
2. They are very fast. This helps you hear the instruments in your composition with ease.
3. They seem very flat to me without any noticeable exaggerations.
4. The amount of built-in EQ configs is greatly unappreciated in this product.
5. Solid build quality.

Cons:
1. I'm still unsure about the mid-range response. It feels very lifeless and dry to me. This may be because they're very flat and uncoloured or actually lacking some warmth.

All in all, these speakers perform amazing in a small space. If you have bigger space, obviously go for bigger, this won't be enough.

Great speaker for a small space or for top speakers on a 7.1.4 setup

If you want to use these as your monitors in a small room they work great I would suggest pairing them with a subwoofer and you're good to go. I used mine as the top speaker for a 7.1.4 setup and they work incredibly, keep in mind that their back settings don't offer a lot, so make sure your room is properly treated. I think for their price they sound great

Really good monitors!

Very well built and everything feels quality. The sound is exceptional! The clarity and depth is just astounding. I can hear stuff in songs I've never heard before. The bass is of course a little lacking, but for 4" it is still very good. I'll be buying a subwoofer to accompany these to get access to the full range of frequencies, so not an issue for me.

For those concerned about the hiss that some people complain about, all monitors with Class D amplifiers produce a hiss, but these have a switch in the back where you can reduce the output level to lower the noise floor. The hiss wasn't bad even before flipping the switch but after I did, it reduced it to a very low level and made it almost inaudible.

All in all I'm very happy with my purchase! And they look cool too! :)

Super Monitore!!!!!

Was kann man zu den KRK V4S4 sagen? Super Monitore, sehr präzise, ausgewogen, neutral.
Ich mische jeden Tag in der Arbeit Voiceover-Dokus und arbeite dort ebenso mit KRK.
Zu Hause ist die Akustik leider noch nicht in Ordnung, deshalb war es für mich total wichtig Korrekturen durchführen zu können. Mit 49 EQ-Kombinationen hat das natürlich sehr gut geklappt. Hier konnten weder die Adam A3X noch die Focal Shape 40 mithalten. Die dürfte ich ebenso dank Thomanns super Service ausprobieren und in Ruhe testen.
Referenz-Aufnahmen klingen entsprechend (präzise, hochauflösend mit einer super Stereo-Bühne). Produktionsfehler, schlechtes Mixing oder Mastering werden gnadenlos wiedergegeben und nicht „verschönert“.
Der einzige Minus-Punkt: Rauschen! Allerdings muss man fairerweise sagen dass man während der Arbeit (also mit Signalzufuhr) so gut wie nichts hört. Das Rauschverhalten des Rechners ist deutlich störender.
Konstruktionsbedingt ist hier unter 60 Hz Schluss. Als Ergänzung empfiehlt man hier natürlich ein Subwoofer (z.B. KRK 8S2). Ich denke es ist eine Überlegung wert.
Die Verarbeitung ist einfach Top. In dieser Preisklasse kann man das nicht toppen.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meiner Wahl und will mich hier nochmals bei Thomann für der perfekten und reibungslosen Ablauf bedanken.
