Was not a perfect fit

Replaced it on my PRS SE, but was a bit loose and kept falling off. Had to use an additional layer material to make it a tight fit

First and foremost a totally useless piece of kit

Even if the product was A1, €12 is insanely expensive for a tiny piece of plastic. But PRS does not force anyone to buy them, so you could also argue it's on us as consumers for being willing to pay that price...

Anyway, that's not the biggest issue with this switch tip. It is not even close to fitting on any of the blade switches I tried it on, which includes the industry standard CRL 3 way switch as well as the import switch on my PRS SE Starla... And also, though not really a fault of the switch tip, after trying to force-feed it on my SE Starla the stock switch completely stopped working/passing any signal.

Already put the clear lampshade knobs on my SE Starla which looked great, the switch tip would have completed the look and also made the switch easier to use/get hold of. But I won't bother anymore trying to make it fit, and risk ruining another blade switch in the process.

Switch Tip

Not made for Fender's CRL switches. The shaft hole is too small for the PRS switch tip. You may need to cut a piece of the switch to make this fit. Or find a switch with a narrower blade tip.

Gute Form, schlechter Preis

Schön dass es den Switch Tip auch seperat zu kaufen gibt. Ist ergonomisch auf Grund seiner breit-flachen Form halt das eine Quäntchen besser. Den Preis finde ich in Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass das Ding vermutlich in China für Centbeträge aus der Maschine fällt schon etwas krass, aber der ist überall hoch, nicht nur bei Thomann. Bleibt ja jedem selbst überlassen wie er das bewertet. Ich habe ihn ja schließlich gekauft.

Achtung: Schlitzmaß ist ca. 3,5mm Länge, passt damit nicht auf amerikanische Schalter (CRL; Oak etc.). Passt auf Importschalter und Schaller/Eyb Megaswitches. Dort passt er perfekt.

Entgegen der Abbildung hat meiner keinen Grat, sondern ist sauber verarbeitet.
