The best V shape i could hope for for this price !

Honestly, this guitare is awesome. I really like the pickups, they have a smaller signal output than EMG active pickups, and it makes their sound more modulable with very high gain tones. They also are splitable, which means you can choose between humbuckers and single coil version, which makes this guitar really versatile.

In terms of shape, it really helped me improve my skills because while you play sitting, the position you have is close to a classical guitar. Much less tension in wrists for me. Plus, when you have to play standing, the guitar keeps its position, so you'll be able to play almost everything with the same ease, sitting or standing.

In terms of fabrication, i received it with really tiny "scratches" (polish missing) bot nothing so bad. I saw many people complaining about ebony fretboard that kind of "cracks" after a few weeks. I think ola Englund (funder of Solar Guitars) fixed it, now, every guitar quality is checked is spain, i waited a few months to see and the fretboard is impeccable.

In a nutshell, this guitar is excellent for its price, its well built, beautiful, ergonomic, i absolutely love it !

Amazing product

I'm extremely satisfied with this product. This V shape is extremely well constructed, the finish is great, no paint problems, no problems with the fretboard, no frets sticking out, the arm is really smooth and comfortable. Guitar came basically ready to play out of the box, only had to do minor setup work, which is great. The only thing I find off-putting is that the machine heads are upside down and that's inconvenient to tune, but that's okay. Jack input is really well placed, a lot of V shape guitar have this problem, but is in a good spot so you can play sitting down, although I have to say is a tiny bit uncomfortable, but that's what you get with a V. The only "negative" thing I have to say about this guitar, is that there's a little bit of neck dive, but nothing out of the ordinary. Amazing guitar, 9.8/10

Im in love with this guitar. This is my first solar guitar and im defenitely planning to order one of the S or As soon. It certainly feels a lot more premium than probably all the guitars and especially the Vs in the range from other brands. Practically haven't putting it down from when i recieved it. (Cheers to Thomann for getting it all the way to Dubai in just 2 days)

Pros:
- Finish is flawless & the guitar looks neat in black. Not even a single
spot.
- Set up was pretty good and done for D which was perfect for me.
- Bridge is quite comfy to rest your hands
- No neckdive
- Cable jack position is placed where you don't have any issue
- Extra jumbo frets really helps nail those high notes. Even the 24th fret
is pretty well accessible + big enough that it eliminates some of the
sloppiness that comes when you play those high frets.
- The solar duncan pickups are quite loud but neat and it picks up pinch
harmonics better than my other guitar with EMG actives while the
balance is damn good that overall string noise is less! (One of my
favourite features)

Cons:
- Not really a con but well it's a V, so you gotta watch those edges or end
up with dings but it's expected when you buy a flying V

I'd recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a sick looking V that plays as good as it looks. ;)

Ein Traum in Schwarz

Zuerst mal sei erwähnt, dass ich mir eigentlich nie wieder eine Gitarre online kaufen wollte, aber Corona machts möglich.
Die erste Überraschung war schon beim auspacken groß. Die Bag ist schon mal ein Hingucker und noch dazu wahrscheinlich unzerstörbar. Die Gitarre ist rein Optisch besser als auf jedem Bild. Dann ab in den Amp und los legen. Ein bisschen die Einstellungen angepasst, da ich bisher nur aktiv unterwegs war, und was soll ich sagen, seit einer Woche hab ich die Solar nur zum Schlafen abgelegt. Die Bespielbarkeit, der Sound, die gesamte Verarbeitung, ein Traum. Seit 7 Tagen dauerspielen mußt ich nicht mal groß stimmen.
Keine Ahnung, ich könnte noch mehr aufzählen und noch mehr Superlative benutzen, aber wie mit allem muss sich jeder selbst ein Bild machen, hier lohnt es sich.
Ich glaube für den Preis bekommt man bei weitem nichts besseres. Danke Ola!
