Goodbye pillow!

I was initially a bit skeptical concerning the performance of this product, but I still gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did!
This works much better than my old pillow/blanket solution, and as it is perfectly sized, it stays in place : no more need to adjust all the time, and no more evolution of the sound.
Performance is amazing too: I still haven't decided which configuration works better for me, but the possibility of removing some parts really changes the sound. I suppose I will have one setting on studio and one for live performances.
Excellent product!

Ich habe diesen Artikel gekauft da ich die ständigen Probleme mit zu viel oder zu wenig Dämpfung mit amateurhaften Materialien leid war.
Die gestufte Dämpfung durch die herausnehmbaren Schaumstoffteile hörte sich gut anwendbar an. Der Sound ist mit dem Kicker weder zu wuchtig noch extrem gedämpft, die Trommel lässt sich so wieder besser in ihrem natürlichen Sound spielen und klingt offener und fetter. Zusätzlich dazu verbessert sich das Spielgefühl, auch mit Doppelfußpedal.
Die Nut für Grenzflächenmikrofon ist live eine brauchbare Funktion und lässt sich mit den mitgelieferten und selbstklebenden Klettverschlüssen problemlos anwenden, sodass das Mikrofon nicht beim Spielen verschoben wird.
Definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung und durch den hohen Preis von Schaumstoff ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Außerdem unterstützt man durch den Kauf einen kleinen Hersteller aus Kroatien.

I like the feel of the batterhead when there is something pushing on it, you can normally achieve this with blankets and pillows but then you really kill all the sound of the kick, it's just attack.

However with The kicker you can achive that "meaty"/ "dense" feel but without killing the sound because it has removable parts wich allows you to tweak the sound and make it more "open" sounding if you wish.

Pros:
-Cut to a specific size, made to touch both heads.
-Great quality
-Removable Parts
-Made to fit a shure beta 91A

Cons:
-None
It tends to move a little bit after a while of playing but it is probably becasue my bassdrum has reinforcement rings.

Tämä on ainakin minun rummuissa paras basari demppi mitä on tullut vastaan! Ei syö liikaa rummun/puun omaa soundia mutta demppaa huminat pois, säätömahdollisuuksia paljon ja jos otat päällimeisen kolmion päältä pois saat siihen todella tukavasti lättämikin vaahtomuovin uriin. Tarra kiinnitykset myös loistavat niin ei heilu roudattaessa/käännellessä.
