I'm usually accustomed to large, thick and rigid picks because I like 050 - 070 - 090 - 110 strings on my bass.
For a change, I've been practicing smaller gauged strings, therefore needed an suitable pick.
This one is neither slimmer, nor more flexible but cuts it out perfectly. The sound will come out brighter (not my preference, only a matter of taste) but fortunately not metallic. I'd prefer it to be ever so slightly larger but it's excellent for precision work indeed. I've never experienced beveled edged picks and I found it very easy to use.
Grip is good but if the textured surface was evenly distributed on both sides, I guess the whole ergonomic concept would really be 100% accomplished. That's because it feels like my fingers have to adapt to how they should hold the pick, whereas I'd see more logic the other way round.
Other than that, I can't comment yet about wear time because I've just begun to use it few days ago.
