I had a hand injury a couple days after buying it, so I couldn't properly use it for weeks. During that time I got familiarized with the controls, the tremolo is the trickiest by far, the reverb controls are pretty straight forward, it sounds amazing, it's a reall sping, nothing beats that. I play surf, for the most part, the reverb can be huge without being annoying, with other reverbs, digital reverbs, I could never use them at full fx or decay, because my ears started ringing, that's not the case with this one, you can max it out, it's always a delight.
There were 3 thing why I bought it and I wasn't dissapointed:
1 It's a real spring, sounds great, it has an unique sound.
2 The tremolo before/after switch is such a great idea, it really changes your whole sound.
3 9V input. Most of the analog reverbs need 12V-18V need their own power supply and are quite big. With the "white whale" I can use the power supply I already had along with my other pedals. Also the size, compared to the other analog options out there, is so small.
I've used it a "praise and worship" pedal it works great. Is not that cheap, but it's really worth every penny.
