I've played ESP LTD guitars since 2014. I trust the brand and the specific guitar only enhanced my overall opinion about ltd guitars. The word "deluxe" on its headstock is 1000% precise. However there are 2 major flaws that make me really upset about both LTD and Thomann.
1) I am pretty sure that the guitar comes from ESP with a hard case. I can't imagine that an instrument at this price tag is not included in a hard case. My previous ltd guitar had half the price and came with a hard case. However, this guitar arrived at the standard thomann paper case. In the case there was this little plastic case that has the 3 allen keys for the guitar setup. Those definetely come from ESP. This made me think that Thomann receive LTD guitars WITH their hard case but then they separate the guitar from the case in order to sell the case as an extra, at a VERY high price.
2) Look closely at the perimeter of the fretboard. There are marks similar to scratches. When I got the guitar I thought they were scratches that came from another person, but I looked every site that sells the guitar (including the ESP site) , I've watched youtube reviews and demos of the guitar and all of them seem to have the same issue. I thought I had to return the guitar but as soon as I found that this is a factory issue, I decided to keep it. It does not affect the playability of the instrument.
Personally, it was my first time ordering from Thomann and as much as I wanted to trust them to spend this amount on the guitar, the overall delivery experience left me unsatisfied. From now on this site is going to be my very last resort when it comes to musical equipment.
