To have a stereo IR loader for this price was very attracting. Right options are there (maybe a phase reverse on 1 channel could be beneficial?) I also enjoyed the fact that the 2 channels could be buffered bypass independently to make 2 neutral HiZ input for example. But after testing it is not quite there, according to my use at least... What I don't like is:
-the input buffer is not neutral and translates high cutoff like adding 3m supplementary cable. Input impedance is >1MOhm though...
-like a lot of digital products it doesn't stand peaks from high output pickups when digging in, it produces clips and cracks. Maybe you could find a work around by managing the amplitude of the loaded IRs... But I don't want to spend time on this kind of problems, it should work out of the box...
-tonewise I was not really fond of the factory IRs that I found very bass oriented, probably not suitable in a mix according to me... Oh and factory IRs 1 and 2 are actually identical don't know what they did here, but verified on measurements...
-probably a mistake but there wasn't any USB cable in my box, whereas it is supposed to have one to use the soft.
In the end I sent it back, I won't be able to find any use because of the limitations. A shame.
