Harley Benton MR-Classic PWH

Un de mes amis guitariste me vantait depuis longtemps les guitares Harley Benton, mais j'avoue que j'étais plutôt septique, étant plutôt habitué à ne jurer que par les Gibson et Fender made in USA.
Et puis j'ai découvert cette copie de Mosrite! L'originale étant maintenant introuvable, et le prix de la version Harley Benton étant attractif, je me suis laissé tenté pour envoyer quelques riffs des Ramones!
Et j'avoue que je suis bluffé par le rapport qualité/prix. J'alterne depuis une semaine les tests sur un jcm800 entre cette MR classic et une de mes SG Standard USA équipée d'un P90 Bare Knuckle en chevalet et elle n'a vraiment pas à rougir face à une guitare qui coûte quasiment dix fois le prix.
La guitare était relativement bien réglée en sortie de boite, j'ai juste retouché très légèrement le réglage du manche, mais j'avoue que c'est mon côté perfectionniste !
A voir comment elle vieillira dans le temps mais en tout cas je suis très content de cet achat qui me donne envie de me replonger dans tous les riffs rock/punk des 70's.

Par où je commence ... Allez la lutherie . Elle a quelque chose d'indonésien , gage de savoir faire . Globalement c'est très intéressant . En revanche les finitions, c'est pas fort du tout . Reprise de la plaque de micros , mal taillée ,et du manche trop long , qui à eux deux serrait le P90 dans son réglage de la hauteur. Visserie acier mou, et patati, et patata ...Temps passé pour reprendre tout ça : x heures. Mais je crois avoir bien fait de la garder ... Ça vaut pas un petit bon d'achat d'encouragement ? I wasnt looking to buy a guitar when I bought this and its a decision I dont regret.
Received this guitar in excellent shape, immediately got the action set to my liking and had this baby sing through a ENGL Fireball on a HESU 2 x12 - The P90 pickups are surprisingly good but I will opt for humbuckers on the bridge position. Other than that , the guitar is great, the quality is excellent and probably the only time I bought a good guitar without making my wallet hate me.

I got this guitar as a main guitar to do gigs with and perform on.
I have brought another mr classic before this and it was unreal, still plays amazing. This guitar is perfect for any genre, not just one genre.
The neck feels smooth and has no gloss finish so it plays fast and slick.
The tuning pegs work great, and dont seem to have any issues.
the body weighs less then a Les Paul, but weighs about the same as a Jaguar or Jazzmaster guitar. Which is great, no one wants a 30kg guitar.
The body feels amazing to play both sitting down and standing.
The deep contours and curves this body has makes for a very smooth and relaxing playing experience.
The p90 pickups are super great, the neck pickup is just beautiful, and the bridge pickup can cover every genre and every sound.
The fixed bridge is great and its important it is adjustable because of intonation, so this guitar has everything, one volume pot and one tone pot, 3 way switch will surely get you writing new songs that you have always dreamed of creating, once again. Thank you to the team at Harley Benton for making such amazing guitars, both the right handed and left handed MR Classic guitars rock so hard you simply forget your playing a guitar.
If you are wondering if this is a good guitar, its a 10/10 from me.
If you want to know if this thing rocks, id say i wished i brought more of these guitars sooner, they are the best guitars being made right now.
All i will be playing for the rest of my life is going to be the couple of Harley Benton MR Classic guitars i have.
