Exquisite guitar with stunning simplicity

First thing to say that Thomann should exchange this ugly photo. This guitar looks much better.

First impresion:
guitar came in a sturdy, very good looking hard case with vintage feel to it. Screams quality.

Sound and feel:
It is truly amazing how vibrant and resposnive this guitar is. You can feel the wood asnwering to your call and everything is so alive. Amount of different typoes that you can get out of it is something that telecasters are famous and know for.

Aging:
most controversial for me, I was never a fun of it and I would try Maybvach before if there would glossy looking without a single scar. From the beginning I didn not know what to say about it. From one side I was looking at it and was really mad why my new guitar has scars and cracks but then started to playing and seeing reflection and say to myself it looks so awesome.
Most controversial but I changed my approach. Aging is done really slighyl and very realistically. Nicotinne aged colour is more yellowish then butter scotch. Nevertheless each uiar due to that is one of it's kind.

Quality:
it is absolutely top of the top. You get premium hardware, great sounding pick ups and this wood is certanilny cherry picked. This is a 1 piece body which really sings. There is no competition in that price range from the biggest brand named on F on this price range.

Final verdict:
from the start I did not know if I will keep it or not but... In the end I cannot give that exquisite example of luthiery to be send back. For me this guitar is inspiration to play.

Sadly, a disappointment

I expected way more from a guitar at this price range, especially from a boutique manufacturer. They say that the wood is hand selected, yet the neck had a horrible grain with lots of ugly stains. Frets were not that polished nor rounded either. As for the sound, it was way too boomy, not twangy in my view, even with different amp settings.
