Sennheiser E 935

I'm not a singer, so you have to consider this when reading this review.

I'm doing backing vocals and some lead vocals in my metal band.

This microphone is sturdy, seems durable, and does a perfect job for the use I have. I move it quite a lot and am not particularely careful, so, yes it is solid. I compare it to our lead singer's sm 58 and I find the sennheiser to be "dryer sounding". It's great with the kind of vocals I do (think "raspy black metal shrieks").
So yes it works great for me, but no I'm not very demanding in terms of microphone quality, being more a guitarist than a singer.

Pour moi la qualité première de ce micro c'est son Son cristallin, la clarté. Rien à voir avec un SM58. En revanche pour l'avoir utilisé sur du live sa courbe de réponse lui donne, certes de la clarté, mais aussi la triste faculté d'accrocher facilement. S'ajoute à cela l'absence d'un interrupteur qui est vraiment dommage.

Pour le reste il est très polyvalent et je me suis étonné à le préféré à certains classiques (e609, sm57 etc..) sur des amplis guitares voir sur la caisse claire, ont obtient une attaque saisissante et un son ouvert qui perce facilement dans le mix. Attention tout de même à avoir de mon préampli pour pousser franchement la bête .
